SKILLS ASSESSMENT WITH

XP LEAGUE OTTAWA

During a Skills Assessment, players go through training modules and play in the game which allows us to get a better understanding of how they play. We have a scoring system which allows us to determines the player's skill level and helps us form teams. We take careful consideration of team dynamics and match players as best as possible. If there are special requests for friends or siblings to play on the same team or game, please let the head coach or league commissioner know during the skills assessment. EVERYONE MAKES A TEAM!

ABOUT LEAGUE PLAY

League players receive a Pro-Level experience, led by PCA double-goal certified coaches, with access to our professional-level equipment. All teams play a 8-week season that includes one practice every week, a game every week, and a custom jersey with the player's Gamertag. All games are live-streamed on our Twitch account and then uploaded to YouTube to relive your fierce matches all over again.

We kick off the season with ice breakers to get all players pumped for the season! We then get into the nitty-gritty of XPL Ottawa's sportsmanship values and reinforce them throughout every practice.

OUR LEAGUES

All skills assessment dates are set ahead of time, the below is a list of our upcoming dates and times. By submitting the form you are agreeing to the following tryout times. While our skills assessments typically occur Saturdays, we do offer some on Wednesdays on limited dates. Send us an email for more info.

Casual

Casual is a monthly membership that provides an hour of gaming every week at our center! A great way for children to meet new friends and play games, without any of the long-term commitments.

Recreational

Recreational is a team-based league that runs for 9 weeks. It includes a practice and a game every week with their team, as well as a team jersey.

Competitive

Competitive is a highly dedicated, team-based league that provides the teams with two practices a week, one game every week, and a team jersey. The Competitive style league is a longer-term commitment of 1 year with the end goal of competing at the North American Finals.
